We are D.O. IT Medical Evaluations. A company founded by Doctors of Osteopathic Medicine, we believe in a wholistic approach to medicine. Western medications have their place, and for many ailments, they can work, however, we also believe that narcotics, sleep-aids, anti-depression, and many other medications are over-prescribed and not always optimal solutions. Natural remedies work wonders for many people and plant-based therapies have been the standard for thousands of years; it has only been within the last 100 years or so that modern medicine has become the standard for treatment
.
At D.O. IT, we don't call it Medical Marijuana, we call it Cannabis. In 1937, Harry Anslinger used the term "Marijuana" to distance the plant from its medical and industrial uses and pass his proposed prohibition of the plant. Before 1937, Cannabis had been used for thousands of years, with archeological evidence of its use dating back to pre-2800BC in China. That's a long time! Many generations used Cannabis as a therapy and as a medicine for a myriad of ailments. The scientific research is finally being completed and simply confirming what humans have known for millennia.

Colorado has passed legislation that makes Cannabis recreationally available and legal, but the medical industry is still catching up. Right now, recreational and medical cannabis dispensaries are providing medical-grade products for people with qualifying conditions along with lower-prices, and decreased taxes. Migraines, Neuropathy, Glaucoma, Cancer, AIDS/HIV, Severe/Chronic Pain, Seizures/Epilepsy, Severe Nausea, Persistent Muscle Spasms, Arthritis, Degenerative Disc Disease, Fibromyalgia, GERD (Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease), IBD (Inflammatory Bowel Disease), Reflux Disorders, Multiple Sclerosis, and PTSD are all conditions that qualify you for the upgrade to medical-grade cannabis in Colorado. With a medical cannabis card, you can be approved for possession limits exemptions such as increased plant-counts and possession amounts, as well as sales limits exemptions so that you can buy more product if your doctor deems it medically reasonable for you to do so. If you are on probation, you need a medical card to consume marijuana products.
